So I was being my usual lazy self, bumming out on a Sunday in my NEWLY-RENOVATED ROOM. <3

Okaay, I know the table’s still kinda messy. hee -_-” But don’t blame me; it’s just so comfy naoooo. :)
Anywaay, as I was being my usual lazy self, I suddenly heard children laughing outside. It was so innocent and so hearty, it was impossible to resist to take a peek on what they’re up to.

Tadaaa! They’re playing makeshift kites out of plastic bags! *.* I wasn’t able to take better shots though. I’m shooting behind our balcony’s fences for fear they might catch me taking pictures of them. I don’t wanna ruin the children’s playful mood. :)

Here’s a shot of a girl playing with the ones supposedly used by gymnastics! haha Sooo CUTE!

So how was your Sunday? :)
To dream of something wherein you are struggling in whatever context, I can’t help but think it means I’m struggling with something in real life, too… And I think I might know what it is.
I’m lying down on grass… Burnt grass. There are trees everywhere… All burnt, too. Where could I be? As I shout for help, an echo is what I get in response. Where am I? I can only vaguely remember that the whole town was in chaos. Everyone was screaming and running away. I wonder where they went… And something in the news about a creature on the loose? “No, that can’t be it,” I thought. Maybe it was a fire, an arson. But where could everyone be?
Suddenly, I can hear footsteps slowly making way towards me. Heavy footsteps. In fact, it’s impossible that it is of a man’s. I also smell fire. Then I hear breathing… Very heavy breathing that seemed to come from just beside me. Then something wet dripped on my shoulders. My heart stopped. As I turn my head to wipe it, I felt chills coming up my spine; I came face to face with an unknown creature… And fire was slowly encircling us both.
Posted on my personal blog, dated May 29, 2011.
May 27, 2011. My family, together with my cousins, were gathered together for a birthday celebration. One random moment, my cousin J got ahold of a paper from another cousin, J.
The leaves parted their way for me as the wind began to blow. A wold howled off in a distance, and the trees above me seemed to moan with the moon. It was raining as the drops hit my head at a roaring speed. I pulled my coat closer to my body and continued my walk. Suddenly, it was colder than usual. An eerie silence filled the streets. A street lamp blinked at a distance. I kept repeating to myself, “Refuge is near,” but it did not do away comfort.
After reading it, I felt terribly hooked and inspired! I wanted to finish it off, but the ending was already good enough. Any addition to it would just ruin the whole feel of the composition.
So I decided to “bastardize” it. HAHAHA That isn’t a curse word, right? Seriously. Because I do not curse!
Suddenly, I saw a shadow in the shape of a house—it carried a sign that said “SHELTER” with a few blurred words I could not yet comprehend. The wind blew harder. I realized that it was wise not to waste any more time walking around this unknown territory. I hastened towards the direction of the sign. As the distance from my position and the shelter blurs, the words below it suddenly became clearer. It said, “SHELTER. None here.” I felt my hope slump down with my body. Tears started rolling down my cheek. I guess this would never end. I knew I shouldn’t have stormed out of that house…
Those underlined words are the revised/added sentences I made just now… Which made it less funny. But yeah, “Shelter. None here.” HAHA
May 20-23, 2011. Actually, we were there until May 24, but we left early in the morning, so I guess it doesn’t really count?
Here are some shots I took from the trip!

In case you were wondering, our hotel room was beachfront! ;) Thank you, Fiesta Resort! There’s a pool and beach just a few walk away—take your pick. We were not able to swim, though—at least I wasn’t.
Although our feet felt like it was either broken already or not there anymore after shopping, it was all worth it because this was what greeted us back at the hotel:

Amazing, right?! It was simply breathtaking!

Aside from the free hotel stay (c/o my uncle & aunt), we got free Vans shoes from our cousins! <3 Been eying for a gray Chucks-like footwear for the longest time now, but this has got to be better than what I had in mind! <3 Just in time!! :)

Also got some opportunity to take photos of the beautiful sunset at Manila Bay! (POV: Sofitel)

Night shots never fail to take my breath away.

I also *attempted* to shoot fireworks… But as always, everything I took were fail shots. I even got up in the middle of the night just to *try* to take pictures of it. Maybe I should really start reading on tuts now…*u*
Here are some random photos instead! :)
